written & illustrated by Chelsey Rockwell-Román and Alex Román The Superfluous Adventures of Indifferent Girl is a comic parodying the day to day life of Iron-Gibbet Comics creator, Chelsey, as she tries to interpret her view of the world through the eyes of a fairly mediocre superhero. It follows no specific plot, but mirrors everyday happenstances such as having a crappy job. All of the heroes and villains in the story are based off of the people the artist encounters in real life.

Indifferent Girl was created in the year 2000 shortly after the Y2K scare, and originally focused on much of the deflated paranoia around the creator’s high school at the time. Though it mocks real life, it is never intended to offend, and is just a way for the creator to deal with life. Having been diagnosed with clinical depression and avoidant personality disorder, She thought she just didn’t care about things anymore, and focused this into Indifferent Girl.

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

This comic may touch upon sensitive subjects when talking about Depression or Anxiety disorders. Please understand that it is not meant to mock these disorders, but for the artists to deal with them themselves as fellow sufferers.

Indifferent Girl, The Refuge and Requiem Mask are all funded entirely through fan donations via patreon. Please consider signing up for bonus content from all Iron-Gibbet Comics to support our ongoing artistic venture.
